Our Wedding Day

I can’t believe it has already been 6 months since the best day ever! Our wedding was truly a fairytale. Now that weddings around the country are allowed to go on, I thought I would share all the details of our day. We got married in Columbus, Ohio on the twenty-eighth of December. It felt so magical to get married during the holiday season and I’m so thankful for how everything turned out. My biggest advice is not to get caught up in the show and spend all this extra money on expensive things that no one really cares about. The one thing I would definitely recommend spending money on is a videographer, the day goes by fast and it’s fun to go back and watch your special day. Just remember to enjoy the day and not stress yourself out over the small stuff. Below I linked some of my favorite Etsy finds.

Trader Joe’s Must Haves

I have been loving Trader Joe’s so much lately! I have been without one close to me for too long so I’m so happy to be able to go again. In my opinion I think they have the best produce options, it always tastes fresh. My favorite things about Trader Joe’s are the unique items and easy to cook meals that are amazing. However, I really have to be in the mood to go there because the it can get overwhelming. I decided today I would share some of my favorite items with you guys to make your next trip so much easier.

  1. Peaches

You get so many peaches for only $6! In my crate there were a total of 14 and they are so juicy. I highly recommend because you can use for pies and even cut them up and freeze to make smoothies.

2. Sweet Potatoes

I love sweet potatoes, they’re some of my favorite things. I found that buying them already in the bag was the best option its only $3. I also liked how long and skinny these ones are, perfect shape to cut into strips and make your own sweet potato fries.

3. Tiny Avocados

You ever find that you’re not eating the entire avocado fast enough and it starts to turn brown before you know it? These are so cute and easy for someone who does not eat an entire large one.

4. Creamy Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce

This is my favorite pasta sauce, it has so much flavor and tastes just as good as going to an Italian restaurant but so much cheaper.

5. Organic Chicken Breasts

The chicken is such a good deal for the amount you get and they are each wrapped individually. I do find that the chicken breasts are thick so I like to cut them in half. It makes it way easier to cook all the way through without drying out.

6. Vegetable Stir Fry

This is so easy to do you just add to a skillet with olive oil for 15 minutes and you’re done. I like to add it to the chicken with teriyaki sauce.

7. Mango Chunks

My favorite frozen fruit! Tastes so good once it thaws and easy to use for a smoothie.

8. Vegetable Fried Rice and Mandarin Orange Chicken

If you love Chinese food but don’t like to spend a ton on going out to eat, I highly recommend trying this. It’s so easy and tastes amazing when it’s fresh! You can also add the vegetable spring rolls and sweet chili sauce.

My Summer Must Haves

Now that it’s starting to feel like summer and things are opening back up again, I wanted to share some of my favorite things. These items you can take to the pool, beach, and even a BBQ at your friends. *Note: none of the items below are a part of any sponsorship deal, I just love them!

I don’t know about you guys but I’m starting to become obsessed with the new seltzer trend. I love that they are so low in sugar to spare you a headache the next day but still taste delicious. However, there is nothing worse than drinking a warm drink that should be cold and refreshing. So I decided to order a slim case from Bru Mate and I highly recommend their products. They have a variety of options to keep your beverages cold. The slim version works with all 12oz slim cans, so you can definetly use with your White Claws. If you are looking for something to keep your beer bottle cold, or even just your 12oz can they have that too! Bru Mate offers a variety of colors that it’s hard to just buy one. https://www.brumate.com

My next must have item for summer are these super cute beach towels from Macys. They are part of the Martha Stewart collection and they’re amazing. I hate going to the pool and having a small towel that doesn’t fit the chair. The towels are so big and soft that you don’t have to worry about what part of your body you want to stick to the plastic because your towel isn’t long enough. They can be a little bit of a splurge but the quality is so worth it, they will last forever.

Everyone needs a cooler when you’re headed out to the beach, pool, and even a picnic! I found so many cute ones from Target that were affordable. I got a super fun flamingo one which is perfect for summer. They also had a couple retro ones and a few that are similar to a yeti cooler but half the price. The flamingo cooler by Igloo is the perfect size to fit your drinks and snacks in and will keep your items cold all day.

Lastly, one of my favorite purchases for summer is the Minnidip pool! They are adult sized swimming pools that come in so many cute patterns. The pool can hold up to 3 adults and it’s such a fun item to have for a summer party. I know most of the patterns are sold out at the moment but if you go to the website you can sign up to be notified when they come back in stock. https://www.minnidip.com
